The Clark County coroner's office identified the 42-year-old Las Vegas man who went on what Metro Police called a "bizarre" crime spree Sunday as Jeffrey J. Hull.
The cause of Hull's death is pending, the coroner said.
The man killed himself after a crime spree that crossed the western Las Vegas Valley for nearly 20 miles, from the northwestern area to the southwestern end, ending at Tropicana Avenue and Grand Canyon when the man was found shot to death in a black Volkswagen Beetle, Metro Police said.
When officers caught up with the man, he drove into a wall, police said.
Police said he shot himself to death as they approached his car.
