A small crowd at Madame Tussauds enjoyed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the crusts cut off while celebrating the unveiling of the smallest wax figures ever to grace any U.S. location of the wax museum, Alvin and the Chipmunks.

The three-chipmunk band, standing 18-inches tall, were fawned over and posed with by the "star-studded" crowd, which included the creative team behind The Chipmunks, Ross Bagdasarian, Jr. and his wife Janice Karman.

Another notable was pop star and teen dream date Drew Seeley, who sang "Shake Your Groove Thing" with the rodents on their new album "Undeniable."

The Madame Tussauds team estimates they worked 640 hours to complete the Chipmunks, which each boast hand-trimmed hair, handmade knit hoodies and tiny headset microphones.

The wax Chipmunks will be on display daily in the On Stage area of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas beginning Nov. 11.
