LETTER TO THE EDITOR:
GOP shows no class in scapegoating Palin
Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008 | 2:04 a.m.
I cannot believe the vicious attacks coming out of the Republican Party against the person who almost got Sen. John McCain elected president.
Where is Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly and his fair and balanced act now? Where is his stellar staff of investigative reporters, who seem to uncover the sins of only the left? The people inside the McCain campaign who have brought all this against Sarah Palin are still in their bunkers and are not being revealed to the public for authenticity.
If McCain will not come forward and defend Palin soon, he will lose the respect he once had throughout America.
I believe Republicans are scared to death of her. They are scared because they know she could run on an independent ticket and do them all in. Sarah running her own ticket would be a different story because no one could stifle her as they did before.

Please, please bring on an unstifled Sarah.
Had she had any brains in that pretty head of hers, Gov. Palin would've said "thanks, but no thanks" to an offer for a position for which she is grossly underqualified. That's what a reasonable, intelligent person would say when offered a job above their skill grade. She gets no sympathy from me for whatever the fall-out of her stupid decision is.
Palin lobbied for the job. One assumes she knew the job was dangerous when she took it. From my own perspective, she likes to shoot animals from helicopters. That's nothing but bloodsport. I have no respect for someone who thinks that's "hunting." She's a self-serving narcissist who deserves what she gets.
soon, as bush, she will be forgotten.
next up, the obama chronicles.
