Monday, Nov. 3, 2008 | 9:21 a.m.
Barack Obama's Nevada campaign director died Sunday night of a heart attack. Terence Tolbert was 44.
In a statement from the campaign this morning, Obama said he was "shocked and saddened" to learn of the death.
"Terence was a strong force in this campaign, with a positive outlook that brought people together. He was much loved by his team, who often repeated his motto of 'leave no stone unturned.' His enthusiasm, talent, and warm heart will truly be missed. The thoughts and prayers of the entire Obama-Biden family are with his wife and loved ones,” Obama said in the statement.
He is survived by his wife, Freida, and his mother, Carolyn.

Screamindemon - Your post just drips with compassion. We can really feel your empathy at someone else's death. When you you lose your "eligable" to be human?
My prayers and thoughts go out to the Tolbert family and friends. He will surely be missed.
Hard hits at the end of a hard campaign.
And Screamindemon, you lack basic tact and decorum. Also NEWSFLASH genius: All those pathetic cries for help (lawsuits against Obama's eligibility) were thrown out. Additionally, the people leveling some of the basest of these accusations are totally unreliable people. That Berg guy pals around with those Loose Change/ 9/11 For Truth people. Frickin' Sweet.
And screamindemon, are you going to be the eugoogolizer for the funeral? Thanks Zoolander.
