Term limits issue still unresolved

Thursday, May 29, 2008 | 2 a.m.

If you think District Attorney David Roger resolved the

term limits issue in Clark County by opining that Bruce Woodbury and others can run again, think again. This debate is just beginning, folks. Steve Sisolak, who filed against Commissioner Woodbury, has decided to stay in the race. Not because he thinks he can defeat Woodbury — although it might come to that. Sisolak is seeking legal avenues to force Woodbury off the ballot, believing he should not be there. That’s an opinion shared by the attorney general and secretary of state, so it will be fascinating to see where this goes. And we know where that is: the state Supreme Court. The question is whether it will get there before the election is decided. Resolved? Not by a long shot.
