WAR. What is he good for?

WAR. What is he good for? Absolutely nothing? Well, only if you define nothing as the vice presidential nominee for the Libertarian Party. And that’s what Wayne Allyn Root had to settle for this weekend after months of promoting himself as all but a cinch to win the third party’s top spot. That infernal Bob Barr! I understand WAR had the former congressman as a 4-1 shot to enter the race and even bet against Barr’s getting in. That has to hurt. But Root showed he still defines his own reality, perhaps as the only candidate in history to brag about beating Mike Gravel in a vote. And then this: “The possibility of a Libertarian third-party ticket winning the White House is now a reality.” What is he good for? That’s entertainment!
