LETTER TO THE EDITOR:
Campaigns take focus away from Iraq
Monday, May 19, 2008 | 2:04 a.m.
Ever since the elections started, we have forgotten our brave men and women fighting in Iraq. Innocent civilians and soldiers are dying everyday, and thousands of broken bodies are coming home to substandard medical facilities and assistance; all we hear or read are news commentaries about Barack Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s quest for superdelegates.
What did Obama or Clinton say or do! What did John McCain do or say today! All of their words and movements are being analyzed and discussed ad nauseam.
Let us not get sidetracked.
Let’s get out of Iraq and not let President Bush off the hook or let his surrogate wannabe John McCain continue this disastrous course.

The war is being won big time. There is little major liberal media demonization lately because of this fact.
Not as much American blood and failure = less and less major liberal media coverage. TRUTH!
