LETTER TO THE EDITOR:
Blame GOP for the downfall of education
Sunday, May 4, 2008 | 2:03 a.m.
Clarence Lanzrath, in his April 22 letter, writes, “My belief is that the Democratic Party, which we all know is now controlled by the liberal left, is in lock step with the National Education Association and because of vote pandering it has had a direct effect on the drastic decline in many areas of our school system.”
Has Mr. Lanzrath forgotten that the decline of our public school system happened while we had a predominately Republican Congress and a Republican president? If John McCain becomes the next president, our public school system would continue with Republican leadership and continue to decline.

The ongoing decline of our public schools has been happeing for decades and decades now.
The takeover of the National Educ. Assn several decades ago BY the uber-liberals who have to hide out in the education field IS responsible for the corrosions and downward stroke of our schools nationwide.
Her thesis is a fraud and her conclusions are just as fraudlent. The author might have to look up all those big words, but get her e dictionary - IF the liberal-corroded school sstems ever taught her how to use one.
