A MOMENT CAPTURED:
They’re just aching to be a ‘Biggest Loser’

Hilary Clemons, left, and Jodie Allison rest their feet after standing in line for more than six hours to audition for “The Biggest Loser.”
Almost 500 plus-sized hopefuls arrived recently at Towbin Hummer for a chance to lose weight on national TV.
Their stories seem familiar to those who struggle with their weight. Clemons, who’s 27 and weighs 318 pounds, put on pounds after having two daughters. Eating became a vice for Allison, 34 and 266 pounds, during an unhappy marriage.
They met at work. “We realized we have the same goals, losing weight, being healthy and being there for our families,” Allison said.
The women hope the reality show will be “that one good shove” toward a healthier lifestyle.
As Allison said:
“I just need the help to get it going.”
