flashpoint:
Most viewed YouTube video?
Wed, Jul 2, 2008 (2 a.m.)
Who would have guessed Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid would have the most viewed YouTube video of the day Tuesday? But there he was at more than 200,000 views and counting with his now famous (infamous?) attack on coal and oil on his favorite network, Fox News: “Coal makes us sick. Oil makes us sick. It’s global warming. It’s ruining our country. It’s ruining our world.” Now nationwide and worldwide viewers may not have known about Reid’s anti-coal crusade until that clip. But they do now, and Freedom’s Watch, the right-wing group funded by Sheldon Adelson, already has begun distributing the video. And now that he has fulminated to a wider audience, my guess is YouTube is not the last place we will see Reid’s rant.
