Letter to the editor:
Obama’s experience is hardly sufficient
Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 | 2 a.m.
I sit here day after day, becoming more and more frustrated with all the hoopla surrounding Barack Obama when, at 68 years old, I see what most others over 65 see that experience does count. We’ve been down the road too long with Mr. Bush and his lack of experience.
Before his selection as president by the U.S. Supreme Court, I could tell he was not up to the job. He had to, basically, learn on the job, and we see what happened with that. I see the same thing with Mr. Obama.
Mr. Obama, who can’t seem to keep track of papers on his desk from his own admission in a recent debate wants to be president. After one session in the Illinois Legislature and one session in the U.S. Senate, he is still wet behind the ears.
We need someone who can handle the nitty-gritty of the day-to-day work. We don’t need someone who has to depend on someone else to hand him or her the correct paper at the right time. I hope and pray the people of the United States will not go down the path we took with Mr. Bush. We need someone with the requisite experience. Hillary Clinton comes to mind.

****Obama Pastor UnGodly Remark: Natalee Holloway "Gets Drunk....Gives It Up"****
Illinois Senator and Democratic US Presidential candidate, Barack Obama, may be in for some media headaches in the coming days following a triumphant double digit victory in South Carolina. Seems his long time Pastor and spiritual advisor has gone on a rant once again, this time against a presumed dead teenager, Natalee Holloway.
Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the controversial minister of Obama's church in Chicago, cited the case of Natalee Holloway's disappearance in Aruba in complaining about what he sees as the media's bias in covering white victims of crime over black victims.
In a WorldNet Daily exclusive the web publication reveals how church documents quote Wright as saying: "Black women are being raped daily in Darfur, Sudan, in the Congo and in Sub-Saharan Africa. That doesn't make news," Wright said in the August 2005 edition of Trumpet Magazine, a publication of his Trinity United Church of Christ.
"But, "One 18-year-old white girl from Alabama gets drunk on a graduation trip to Aruba, goes off and 'gives it up' while in a foreign country, and that stays in the news for months!" he added. "Maybe I am missing something!"
