Caucus-goers beware
Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008 | 2 a.m.
The Democratic Party has confirmed that some voters received calls deliberately providing false information about their caucus site and time. To be clear: Caucus meetings open at 9 a.m. for Republicans and 11 a.m. for Democrats. You can double-check your caucus site online or by phone. Republicans: (702) 258-9182. Democrats: (702) 737-VOTE (8683).

This is the most irresponsible journalism I have ever seen. Caucuses open at 8;30 am NOT 9 am. 9 AM is the cutoff point. If you get there at 9:01 am they might tell you to go home. Way to sponsor the GOP voter suppression tactics Las Vegas Sun. I can't believe that a mistake of this proportion could be accidental.

From the Nevada GOP Caucus site:
"All caucuses begin at 9 am."
Obama 08
Make the choice that means change. Real change. Barack Obama for President.
THEY USE SCARE TACTICS IN IOWA AGAINST STUDENTS...
THEY USE RACE CARD AGAINST BLACKS IN SOUTH CAROLINA...
THEY USE SMEAR TACTICS IN NEW HAMPSHIRE ABOUT DRUGS AND ABORTION...
THEY USE LAWSUITS IN NEVADA AGAINST HISPANICS...
THEY WILL DO ANYTHING FOR POWER!!!!WELCOME TO THE CLINTONS WORLD!!!
if you guys are thinking, then you should be thinking about the following:
remember clinton's argument that the location of the caucuses on the las vegas was unfair, and that votes cast there would be counted for more than those cast elsewhere. remember the-one-vote-per-person line advocated so angrily by bill clinton. now, since the majority of the voters on that strip voted for the clintons, does bill still believe that those votes were unfair? does he still believe that they counted for more than others? of course not; after all, the clintons thanked the voters for voting their conscience.
those voters moved from having unfair voting advantage to having great conscience!!!!
what a bunch of hypocrits!!!
mm
You had no problem when the Union thought they had the advantage with these sites.. Talk about Hypocrite.
Ofcourse Hillary is pleased that the workers would not be intimidated, and that they chose to come out in force for her.
But she still expressed concern for the whole system even after she won.
Your just choking on sour grapes....
The Clinton world is always DIVIDE AND CONQUER SMEAR AND DESTROY as evident in the last two months and in these comments.
Senator Barack Obama's words:
“We can no longer afford to build ourselves up by tearing someone else down,” he said. “We can no longer afford to traffic in lies or fear or hate. It is the poison that we must purge from our politics; the wall that we must tear down before the hour grows too late.”
Obama is what America needs to regain a place in this world. Enough of the Clinton attack machine. The Clintons are so divisive and they are so fake. The only way they can make themselves look better is by running smear campaigns on others. Why don't they only talk positive about themselves instead of calling Obama a fairy tale, diminishing MLK's actions, and thinking we, the American people, are stupid enough to believe them?
Bill Clinton is a joke... he very well knows the Clinton campaign was behind the ridiculous lawsuit and then gets mad at the reporter asking him about it... Stop talking non-sense Bill. You think playing Good Cop, Bad Cop with Hillary will get you somewhere... but it won't.
Yes Clinton, Give me a break, all right! Enough attacking others, Clinton! We don't want another Bush - Clinton - Clinton - Bush - Bush - CLINTON?!!!
That is not CHANGE.
You have a choice, so make the right choice. Stop listening to the Clinton Smear Attacks...
Enough push-polls and smear campaigns. Clintons will do anything to get into the White House again. Enough is enough!
