Metro Police said today they are still looking for a man who robbed an employee of the Sahara Hotel and Casino at gunpoint last week.

Authorities said the man loitered for about 20 minutes, then entered the casino's poker room at about 5:30 p.m. Friday and used a firearm during the robbery. The man then left the casino on foot northbound on Las Vegas Boulevard across Sahara Avenue.

The gunman was described as white and about 20 to 30 years old with a thin mustache and thin build. He was wearing blue jeans, a brown cap, a brown or green hooded sweatshirt with lettering down the left side and a yellow ballcap, authorities said.

Anyone with information is being asked to call the Metro Police robbery section at 828-3591, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
