Metro Police today are asking for the public's help in finding a man who allegedly shot the mother of his children in the face in the eastern Las Vegas Valley.

Police responded at about 3:45 p.m. Friday to the area of Boulder Highway and Missouri Avenue, where Gayle Naulls is suspected of shooting his girlfriend in the face with a handgun. The victim also is the mother of the gunman's three children, authorities said.

The woman was taken to a local hospital, where police said Monday she is in stable condition.

Authorities said Naulls is wanted in connection with attempted murder with a deadly weapon, battery with substantial bodily harm with a deadly weapon and battery domestic violence. He was described as being 6-feet tall and 180 pounds with short, black hair, and a cropped beard and mustache.

Naulls should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is being asked to call Metro Police at 828-3111 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555. Anyone who provides information leading to an arrest will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
