Man found shot to death in desert identified

Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008 | 11:31 a.m.

The Clark County coroner’s office has identified a second body found last month in a burned-out car in the desert as 25-year-old Martin Martinez Jr.

The coroner’s office said Martinez and his 26-year-old girlfriend, Kristin Rosanne Cicale, both died of a gunshot wound to the head and ruled the deaths as homicides.

The bodies were found Nov. 11 in a desert area half a mile northwest of Blue Diamond.

Police are still looking for a motive and a suspect in the homicides.

Authorities have not said if there is a connection between the deaths of Martinez and Cicale, and 26-year-old Jeffery Anderson Jr., whose charred body was found in the desert south of the Henderson Executive Airport.
