The woman charged with fatally stabbing another woman at Bally’s hotel and casino in early September was sentenced Thursday to three to 10 years in prison.

Latrovia Reed, 23, of Milwaukee, pleaded guilty Oct. 22 to voluntary manslaughter in the death of 24-year-old Talesha Jamerson.

Reed and two other women were arguing on Sept. 5 near the registration desk at Bally's when the argument escalated, police said. When officers arrived at the Las Vegas Strip resort, they discovered a woman had been stabbed in the neck.

Jamerson was taken to Sunrise Hospital, where she died of her injuries, police said.

  1. 3 to 10 years for murder thats crazy she should be doing at least 20 yrs

  2. I think that this is a sad situation.First of all I think that it's really disturbing that she only recieved 3 to 10 years.Reguardless of what that woman did she didn't deserve to die like she did. And for this woman to get that little time is like they spit in her family face.I dont Know if I ran across the two girls before ,because I myself use to dance but it hit close to home I must admit I cried . I plan to go back to school to help woman like us because this shouldn't be happening and I don't believe there is any justice in this case. She was stiil a person.
