A state corrections official says O.J. Simpson has arrived at a Nevada prison.
Nevada Department of Corrections spokeswoman Susanne Pardee says Simpson arrived Monday morning at High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs.
The all-male medium security prison is about 45 miles northwest of Las Vegas. It has 3,000 beds and serves as the intake center for new southern Nevada prison inmates.
The 61-year-old Simpson was sentenced Friday to nine to 33 years in a September 2007 confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers over items that Simpson claimed were stolen from him.
A co-defendant, 54-year-old Clarence "C.J." Stewart, was sentenced to 7 1/2 to 27 years. He remained Monday at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas.

I knew there would be a slew of racist remarks about OJ getting sent to prison, and I admit I am ignorant of Nevada Law. However, how is it that a little 7-year old Black girl was killed in a Las Vegas casino restroom in the wee morning hours of May 25, 1997, while the "accomplice" and witness to her rape and murder listened to her screams in the next stall? According to what was reported in a 1999 issue of this newspaper, Nevada Law states, "any participant in a slaying is equally guilty of first degree murder." Very intesting indeed. In this case, the "accomplice," David Cash, was set free by a Nevada grand jury. Is this justice Nevada-style? Sounds like racism to me.
Karma? Whats that got to do with OJ being convicted of armed robbery? And how is it racist to send a convicted criminal to prison? Yes like you said you are "ignorant" if your trying to defend OJ. If you want to support OJ then send the Goldman's some money to pay the debt he owes them.
Hey OJ-don't bend over in the shower for the next 10 years.
