FLASHPOINT:

State Democrats will have a lot to answer for

Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008 | 2:01 a.m.

After last week it’s clear the state Democrats will have a lot to answer for if they cannot deliver Nevada for Barack Obama. Beyond the successful convention and Nevada’s prominence on the floor, look at what happened during the Denver extravaganza to the state GOP. In a story that went national, a committee detailed what it called the “ineptness” of the state party in its handling of the national delegation scheduled to go to St. Paul, Minn., this week. How embarrassing that a few days before the convention commenced, the delegation was still in flux. And now, after a compromise, some of those approved by the party behind closed doors got bumped for Ron Paul followers. Hope they had refundable tickets.

  1. Gotta love the disarray in the GOP. Their party is coming apart at the seams because they sense what lies ahead this November, another brutal beating at the polls.
