Letter to the editor:
Congress, make your vacation permanent
Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008 | 2:01 a.m.
Hallelujah! Congress is on vacation for five weeks!
Since these 535 individuals are incapable of doing anything to help the average American, may I suggest they all stay away from Washington permanently?
The public certainly would be better served!

If they would pass the energy bill to just lift the ban on producing domestic energy I would agree. After that stay home a year or two and quit doing things TO us. If Harry Reid wont vote for American energy for American jobs, we need to put him on permanent vacation and send someone else to Wash. That should be Nevada's gift to America.
