Letter: Bin Laden is not our biggest problem
Monday, Sept. 17, 2007 | 7:14 a.m.
What would it take for our government officials, the media and the spineless, hypocritical and self-serving presidential hopefuls of both parties to realize that, by now, it makes absolutely no difference whether Osama bin Laden is alive or not?
When will they accept the fact that what counts is not Osama's life but the foolhardiness and the arrogance of the myopic Bush administration?
When will "we the people" wake up and realize that our government's smug imperial foreign policies are the enzyme rennin for the destruction of the once greatest modern democracy on Earth? Are we willing to say "enough is enough" now or are we waiting for its complete devastation?
