Flashpoint:
The great battle for Nevada continues on the Democratic side
Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007 | 7:37 a.m.
The great battle for Nevada continues on the Democratic side of the White House race. On Tuesday New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson announced that he was adding staff in Reno. And he couldn't resist this snarky shot at John Edwards: "Some candidates may be pulling staff out of Nevada, especially the northern region, but I believe that all Nevadans deserve to be a part of this process." He loves us more than Edwards does because Edwards loves Iowa more and has moved staff there - get it? And Richardson really loves us: "The Reno office now serves as the base of operations for eight Richardson for President staff members, more than many campaigns have in the whole state." Another shot. Richardson must really need, er, love us.
