Letter: President has bungled decision after decision
Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 | 6:58 a.m.
It must be great to live in a fantasy world as Lee Gliddon Jr. does. How else can one explain his thinking Bush is doing a great job?
The only things Bush is great at are screwing up and having misplaced loyalties. He started a war with an innocent country that had nothing to do with 9/ll. Yet he and his cronies still harp on that lie.
The Iraq war is a disaster , but Bush keeps throwing young American lives into the fray with tragic results. His misplaced loyalty kept Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld in power when he should have been long gone. Paul Bremer was a disaster in Iraq and "lost" billions of dollars and weapons. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales was the laughingstock of not only our country but also the world.
Vice President Dick Cheney is a madman, and Karl Rove is evil, but both have curried favor with the egomaniac in the White House.
The Constitution has been shredded. We Americans have been spied on and our rights taken away.
Mr. Gliddon wants to blame the Democrats and/or liberals for everything bad being said about Bush and he ignores the fact that many, many Republicans have drawn away from Bush.
Mr. Gliddon should get back to the real world.
