Las Vegas once again is a leader, and the East Coast is taking notice. No, it has nothing to do with tourism or downtown redevelopment. It has to do with suing the federal government. Over airport flight paths. Seems the city isn't alone and back East, the same tactic is being employed in one of the most congested areas in the country: The New York metropolitan area. Ralston noted that a news release announcing Waltuch's appointment left out his previous employer, a deceitful omission. Waltuch was senior counsel and vice president of New Century Financial, the poster child of the subprime lending fiasco.
