Letter: President is doing a fantastic job
Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007 | 7:22 a.m.
Every day I read another letter from someone blaming President Bush for some imagined wrong. He is blamed for everything that goes wrong even if there was no way in God's creation he could have done anything about it. Let a bull pass gas in the woods and some jerk will blame Bush for having spilled a can of beans that was the cause for the bull to have gas in the first place.
Look, folks, whether you like it or not: Unemployment is at an all - time low; wages are at an all-time high; the war in Iraq is winding down and we are winning; North Korea is calming; taxes are low; prescription drugs are affordable to seniors; and things are looking just dandy. No matter what the Democratic candidates are saying, the sky is not falling.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., attempts to make his snide remarks about any thing he can't claim credit for, and still things are looking great. The ACLU wants us to believe that our military are a bunch of thugs, yet they fight on and they win.
Face facts: President Bush is doing a great job in spite of the nasty comments about him and it grates on the liberals' hide. Good.
