It was a riot watching the Republican presidential candidates argue during Tuesday's debate about cutting spending. Don't they know that there's a war on?
Reading about the poor people in Baghdad being able to have electricity for only two hours per day is pretty confusing since we've been there rebuilding for 4 1/2 years. We have even built an embassy that's larger than the Vatican in Rome. I'm sure that our ambassador really needed a compound that large.
It's a good thing that this administration has been taking care of business at home. Our economy is so good that the poor kids don't need insurance because their parents have to work only two jobs. I wish someone would take President Bush for a walk around Washington, D.C., just to see how all the people he thinks have too much are coping.
