Jennifer York's Oct. 6 letter to the editor lamented the problem of the people serving government rather than the other way around. Sadly, I agree with her. All we have to do is look toward the local/county governments in the Las Vegas Valley.
Ms. York, let's start here in Clark County. If the people really care, then let us find and vote into office honest, ethical and moral candidates. I care less about which political party the person belongs to because both parties fail the litmus test on the above qualities. So let us clean Las Vegas et al. before we try to clean Washington .
