Because of an error by the Sun, a story in Monday's edition about two new charter schools incorrectly stated that teachers from Nevada Connections Academy work from home while teachers for Nevada Virtual Academy report daily to a Las Vegas office. Teachers for Nevada Connections Academy report daily to an office in Reno. Teachers for Nevada Virtual Academy work from their homes, including the seven local teachers assigned to Clark County students.
Navegante Group executive Larry Woolf's name was misspelled in a story about Macau in Sunday's edition.
In Monday's Opening Line, the first name of a former Clemson announcer was incorrect. He was Jim Phillips, not Bill.
A story Monday inaccurately stated that the Henderson City Council late last year approved Frozen 75, a teenage club on Sunset Road. Zoning allowed the club to open even though the council in November denied a permit for live music.
