In the wake of the frenzy surrounding Gabe Grasso's most famous client, O.J. Simpson, it's easy to forget that he also is handling the defense for ex-Commissioner Lynette Boggs. Grasso filed a writ for Boggs recently and a hearing will be held Dec. 19 on whether to dismiss the charges against the former commissioner of lying about her residence and paying her nanny with campaign funds. On "Face to Face" on Thursday, Grasso said he believes he might have success at that hearing. He believes that because Boggs was living in her district when she filed her candidacy - months before the infamous pink bathrobe video - and because she acknowledged paying the nanny, the state's case is weak.
