SAN DIEGO - In a story Friday about a U.S. serviceman who was due to answer charges of failing to investigate the killings of 24 Iraqis, The Associated Press reported erroneously that Army Lt. Col. Steven L. Jordan of Fredericksburg, Va., was convicted of abusing detainees at Abu Ghraib prison. He was not.
