Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007 | 3:43 a.m.
THE RACE: The presidential race for Democrats, Republicans in New Hampshire.
THE NUMBERS - DEMOCRATS
Hillary Rodham Clinton, 37 percent
Barack Obama, 22 percent
John Edwards, 9 percent
Bill Richardson, 6 percent
Dennis Kucinich, 5 percent
THE NUMBERS - REPUBLICANS
Mitt Romney, 34 percent
Rudy Giuliani, 16 percent
John McCain, 16 percent
Ron Paul, 8 percent
Mike Huckabee, 6 percent
Fred Thompson, 5 percent
OF INTEREST:
Clinton and Romney are holding on to their double-digit leads in the Granite State, but many likely voters say they haven't decided which candidate to vote for. More than half, or 52 percent, of likely Democratic voters say their minds are not made up. The figure is even higher among Republicans, with two-thirds saying it was too early to say whether they've made up their minds. Among Republicans, Rudy Giuliani and John McCain, whose campaign suffered earlier in the year, were tied for second place. Fred Thompson was sixth, behind Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee.
The CBS/New York Times poll was conducted by telephone Nov. 2-11 with 719 likely primary voters in New Hampshire. The results have a margin of sampling error of 5 percentage points for Democratic voters and 6 percentage points for Republican voters.
