Recalls
Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007 | 10:16 a.m.
The following recalls have been announced:
- About 75,000 plastic folding chairs, manufactured in the United States by Iceberg Enterprises LLC, because the chairs can collapse. The company has received about 15 reports of chairs collapsing, including three reports of minor injuries. The chairs were sold by office supply retailers around the country between August 2005 and July 2007. Details: by phone at 800-580-1310; by Web at http://www.cpsc.gov.
- Coffee Masters, Inc. of Spring Grove, Ill., is recalling about 25,000 Chipper with Coffee Biscotti products because the biscotti cookies might contain undeclared protein from milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybean ingredients. People who have an allergy to these ingredients run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume the product. No injuries have been reported, according to the company.
Coffee Masters distributed the biscotti January through September this year nationwide in retail coffee shops. For more information, consumers can call the company at 800-334-6485, ext. 110.
