Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007 | 3:39 a.m.

THE RACE: The presidential race for the Republican, Democratic nominations in New Hampshire.

---

THE NUMBERS - DEMOCRATS

Hillary Rodham Clinton, 35 percent

Barack Obama, 21 percent

John Edwards, 15 percent

Bill Richardson, 10 percent

---

THE NUMBERS - REPUBLICANS

Mitt Romney, 32 percent

Rudy Giuliani, 20 percent

John McCain, 17 percent

Ron Paul, 7 percent

---

OF INTEREST: The poll shows that Romney and Clinton remain the front-runners in New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation presidential primary, but they have yet to seal it. Just 16 percent of Republicans and 24 percent of Democrats said they've "definitely decided" whom to support. The poll shows Clinton with strong support on questions of experience and dealing with terrorism, but when asked who is "most trustworthy," 26 percent said Obama, compared to 19 percent each for Clinton and Edwards. Romney has vulnerable spots, as well. Thirty-four percent of Republicans said Giuliani is the "strongest leader," compared to 26 percent for Romney, the former Massachusetts governor. And Romney trailed McCain and Giuliani on the question of which candidate is best able to deal with terrorism.

The survey of 400 Democratic and 404 Republican likely primary voters was conducted for The Boston Globe by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center Nov. 2-7. It has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.9 percentage points.
