Letter: Why a building wrap hurts the Luxor

Regarding the Las Vegas Sun's Nov. 4 story ("Building wraps: Art or schlock?"), which included the new Luxor look with the huge vodka graphic on the building:

Absolut ugly.

Absolut tacky.

Absolut shameless sellout.

Let's say I'm here on my first trip from Kansas and I'm driving along the Strip. I want to visit a casino, any casino, on a whim, based on the casino's "curb appeal."

I have $250 I'm willing to gamble. Does the Luxor's huge graphic make it more likely I'll choose to go inside the Luxor, or would I be attracted to a more aesthetically pleasing structure?
