Just over a week before Nevada becomes the center of the political universe (again) with that CNN presidential debate, we are not getting the love. Every day, it seems, there is another report of Nevada campaigns moving staffers to - I can hardly say the name - Iowa. Iowa, Iowa, Iowa - it's the Marcia Brady of caucuses, and we are Jan. Iowa may be older and some parts of it may be prettier, but we have the substance. Don't we? I suppose we will find out Nov. 15 when the second hour of the debate will be devoted to average Nevadans asking questions of the Democratic contenders. The national media types have suggested we might not be as sophisticated as Iowans or New Hampshirites . We are about to find out.
