Letter: If the killers have to suffer, then so be it

It seems that the noncontroversial use of lethal injections for prison executions is still a continuing topic of discussion among the politically correct literati. Their arguments plead that these criminals have suddenly become "victims" and that they can suffer during the final procedure.
For God's sakes, they're being executed for having committed acts against the public so as to have been adjudicated to be eliminated from civilized society! If they suffer during the procedure, good. Remember, they are being executed.
The sooner they are eliminated, rather than having them gain access to years of unlimited legal appeals - also paid for by public tax revenue - the better for the public good.
It's way past the time that what sometimes laughingly passes for our legal system gets on with the actual enforcement of the existing criminal laws.
I have spoken.
