FLASHPOINT for Mar 15, 2007
Thursday, March 15, 2007 | 7:18 a.m.
So Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is writing a tell- some book with Esquire Executive Editor Mark Warren. I admit it: I am terribly envious. There are few other people I have known in Nevada politics whose life so richly traverses this protean state. There are so many Reid stories. Example: The time Frankie Sue Del Papa called him about her distaste for fundraising and he hung up on her -no one hangs up on you like Harry Reid - and immediately began looking for a replacement candidate for governor. That's just one. There are so many, and I haven't even mentioned the mob days and his stint as a gaming regulator or his memorable 1986 and 1998 campaigns for Senate. There is much more, too. I am so envious.
