Regarding the Las Vegas Sun's June 24 story "Reality hits home":
The act that has deprived Tom Urbanski of a normal life, therefore affecting his immediate and peripheral families, is tragic, notwithstanding the cause. The other tragedy is that people who are role models because of occupation or celebrity status are unconscious of that fact, or even worse, disregarding that fact in their lives.
What will be learned by the multitude of young people who view professional athletes and celebrities as objects to emulate, especially given the publicity given to their "escapades," one of which might have caused the Urbanski tragedy?
