Letter: U.S. overrun with illegal immigrants
Saturday, June 2, 2007 | 7:13 a.m.
I totally agree with Frank Musaraca and David Culbertson, who wrote in their letters to the editor (May 26 and May 30, respectively) that only children born to citizens should be considered citizens.
When the Constitution was written 220 years ago, things were different. Our forefathers had no idea what was going to happen to this country back when it was written.
Something must be done before the U.S.A. is known as North Mexico. How dare these illegal aliens demand our laws be changed to suit them? They are illegal and they don't have any rights. What is it about illegal that our politicians don't understand?
Our namby-pamby politicians are giving in to these criminals invading our country. They should all be rounded up and sent back to wherever they came from. They should go back to their own countries and march and demand whatever they feel they deserve. Our country is fine as is; leave it alone.
The laws of this country were written for the people and by the people, but our representatives aren't listening to the people. We have spoken: no amnesty, no comprehensive anything.
Why don't they represent the citizens of this great country and not the illegal aliens with all their ridiculous demands? I'm sick of it.
