Letter: Cheney pulls strings at the White House

I was horrified last week when I heard that President Bush underwent surgery to remove polyps from his colon. What really scared me was the statement that he had " turned power over to Cheney "

However, after a moment's reflection, I realized that nothing had actually changed after all.

On Saturday I read that Vice President Dick Cheney had the battery to his implanted cardioverter-defibrillator replaced. The big question is, "Who was running the country while he was in surgery?"
