Letter: Bush, Cheney are doing jobs right

I would like to rebuke the comments of letter writers Mark Ferraro ("Bush, Cheney have been a disaster," July 20) and Daryl Morris, who commended Mr. Ferraro ("Counting the days till the next president," July 21).

First, the approval ratings of the Democratic Party are sinking so low because of no action on Iraq, health care, immigration, education or Yucca Mountain.

Your leader, Sen. Harry Reid, is ineffective.

Second, the ratings of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney are going up because of action on North Korea and Iran stopping nuclear weapons.

Last, we Republicans elected Bush and Cheney and they will serve until January 2009, and "to the victor, go the glories."
