Letter: New Frontier great place for memories

I was present on July 15 for the closing day of the New Frontier, and I enjoyed the July 22 photo column by the Las Vegas Sun's Tiffany Brown about the Rat Pack entertainer Nick D'Egigio.

Nick is certainly right when he mentions that casino floor lounges would bring good music, good people and lots of fun to the many Vegas visitors as well as the locals such as myself. Nick has a beautiful voice as well as gorgeous "Blue Eyes."

I enjoyed his performance and had such a good time. Nick brought back many memories of me as a teen, when I listened on the radio to the Saturday night "Hit Parade" and would hear Old Blue Eyes singing the songs that Nick sang. It was the bobby sox-saddle shoe era.
