Regarding the Las Vegas Sun's July 20 story, "Dems aren't do-nothings, ad blitz will say":
All I could do was shake my head from side to side in sickening amazement when I read about the upcoming advertisement by Americans United for Change - which the Sun describes as a "progressive group that is part of the anti-war umbrella group Americans Against Escalation in Iraq" - touting the successes of Congress and highlighting Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Just days after Democrats started labeling the surge ineffective despite it being in place approximately two weeks, we're to believe that the Democratic Congress is successful despite being in place over six months, and achieving only a small fraction of what they promised. I hope most people will see it as it is - an absolute height of hypocrisy!
