Letter: Parents should take responsibility for kids

Concerning the Las Vegas Sun's July 14 editorial that opposed cutting funds for the English-language learner program, I'm for cutting all the funding out of it. And while they are at it they can cut out free breakfast and lunch programs and lunch during summer vacations.

I, for one, am sick and tired of paying all these taxes to make up for all the parents out there who don't take the responsibility of feeding their own kids. Enough is enough!

I have three children and I got up and fixed my kids a hot breakfast before I went to work and I packed their lunches and I even fed them during the summer. Imagine that!

Why should everyone else have to work hard all their lives and have to pay to feed other people's kids and take care of their health care also?
