Letter: Ensign served voters on immigration bill

Since the flawed immigration bill went down in flames, I've read opinions vilifying Nevada Sen. John Ensign. Guess what ? Our senator actually followed the dictates of the folks he represents.

The thousands of communications from our citizens opposed to that amnesty bill had the desired effect. We don't really care what route the senator used to defeat the bill.

We applaud his response to our deep ly felt wishes. Wouldn't it be grand if other party politicos followed their constituents' wishes? Think about it.
