Letter: Let’s worry about the real vice in D.C.

Once again a high-ranking "sinner," Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana, has apparently communed with God and found forgiveness. I suppose that wouldn't have been necessary had his telephone number not appeared in the "D.C. Madam's" records.

These politicians could write a book about "Revelations." Frankly, who cares about his trysts? I am far more concerned about all the political prostitution that occurs behind closed doors in Washington than another Heidi Fleiss, "madam to the stars"-style expose.

I have no problem with Vitter's sin-and-repent routine just as long he didn't also screw our country.
