The Sun reported Thursday that test scores had dropped at Rose Warren Elementary School, one of four campuses in the Clark County School District's empowerment program. The story should have said that although math scores for students in grades 3, 4 and 5 declined, reading scores improved, especially among fifth graders.
A list of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq that ran in Thursday's Sun incorrectly said Army Sgt. 1st Class Raymond R. Buchan's hometown was Johnston, Pa. He was from Johnstown, Pa.
