You've heard of the media taking on government. Well, right here in the valley, we have a government taking on the media. Clark County has erected a Web page dedicated to challenge "inaccurate, misleading and false information" in the media. The first entry is about how three outlets have lumped the county in with cities facing shortfalls. "Clark County officials' conservative projections of consolidated tax revenue avoided such a dilemma," we learn. So the site will have a dual purpose: Take on the media and make other governments look bad. This site will be fun. I wonder if my media colleagues want to collaborate on a site to correct "inaccurate, misleading and false information" from the county. Let's start with UMC...
