All I can really say about President Bush's State of the Union speech is this: He talks the talk, but he doesn't walk the walk. Tuesday's speech was filled with many inconsistencies, and there was no direct point or merit in his speech to persuade anyone in accepting his proposals.
The man is still dealing in fantasies. Unfortunately, the mess in the Middle East should have never involved the United States. Did anyone ask for our assistance? I don't remember hearing anything about this.
There will be no victory in the Middle East, either political or military. The Shiite militias have been keeping al-Maliki in power, and Bush expects him to put them down? I don't think so.
