Letter: If not for Democrats, war would be over

The TV show "24" is one of the most watched programs on Monday evenings, not only by the conservative crowd but also the liberal side. Some critics are outraged that this series is a conservative political message.

Some of my liberal friends are the biggest cheerleaders of "24" and even go as far as acquiring TiVo so as not to miss an episode.

My message to those on the left and the far left is this: If not for your friends in Congress tying the hands of those who are fighting for our butts, including our brave men and women in uniform and those who serve in our intelligence agencies, the war against terrorism would have been over two years ago.
