Letter: Republicans late in wanting war plan

It has been proven without a doubt that President Bush and all his cohorts got the United States into the Iraq war by endless lying and backroom deals. The rubber-stamp Republican Congress approved whatever the president wanted purely because of political affiliation.

Now that their party is no longer in power, and their past decisions are in question, it is quite interesting to me to see all the Republicans now clamoring for a "plan" from the Democrats, a plan to win the war.

Where was all this outcry for a plan during the past three years? The only reason we are not still "staying the course" is because of the recent change of power in Washington.

And one last thing - where is Karl Rove?
